1.Product Introduction
Grooved Butterfly Valve is also called a flap valve, is a simple structure of the regulating valve, but also can be used for low pressure pipeline medium switch control.Butterfly valve opening and closing part is a disc - shaped butterfly plate, in the valve body around its own axis rotation, so as to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjustment.
2.Grooved Butterfly Valve Product Feature And Application
Butterfly valves are designed for bubble-tight shut-off to 200 psi
Body: Carbon steel
Housing: Ductile iron conforming to ASTM A395 grade 60-40-18,painted black.
Seat/Liner:Nitrile"T"grade. Temperature range –20°F to +180°F/–29°C to +82°C.
Recommended for petroleum products, air with oil vapors, vegetable and mineral oils within the specified temperature range.
Not recommended for hot water services over +150°F/+66°C or for hot dry air over +140°F/+60°C.
Stem-Upper/Lower:stainless steel
Disc: Aluminum bronze/stainless steel 316
Track Bolts/Nuts:Steel, Electroplated
Size:2’’ 3’’ 4’’ 6’’
Grooved Butterfly Valve is a kind of valve that opens, closes or adjusts the medium flow rate with the disc type opening and closing parts reciprocating rotation 90° or so. Butterfly valve not only has the advantages of simple structure, small volume, light weight, low material consumption, small installation size, small driving torque, simple and rapid operation, but also can have good flow regulation function and close sealing characteristics.
